Hi, I’m Leo,
Welcome to this latest issue of SoloCodeVenture.
Today we’ll focus on creating an Ai mobile app that breaks down long term goals into smaller actionable steps by being a sort of personal goal assistant for life motivating users to get better by just 1% every day and by picturing their life as they keep going forward.
Making a choice that is 1 percent better or 1 percent worse seems insignificant in the moment, but over the span of moments that make up a lifetime these choices determine the difference between who you are and who you could be. Success is the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.

Overview 👀
What is it about?
This platform acts as a virtual life-coach and task manager in one. Users set ambitious long-term goals and the system automatically breaks them down into daily, bite-sized actions. By combining progress tracking, motivational insights and a vivid “future self” visualization it drives a 1% per day improvement habit.

Problem & Solution 🔍️
Problem to solve
Most goal-setting tools either remain high-level (ex. “run a marathon by the end of the year”) or overly granular with no context (ex. “run 1 mile per day”). Users of course might then struggle to maintain momentum or lose sight of the long-term vision and effects.
Solution to build
We will then build a goal-tracking app with a built-in Ai that combines goal decomposition with daily habit tracking and a personalized view of the future self to see where they’re heading to. Users input their “big picture” objectives and the platform generates a roadmap of actionable tasks and schedules them automatically. You could also make visuals of “future self” projections with graphs and infographics to keep users emotionally connected to their future version they’re building.
Target audience 🙋
Aspiring professionals
Entrepreneurs
Productivity enthusiasts
Core features 💪
MVP (Must have)
Goal decomposition engine - prompt any LLM to break down the goal into easier tasks
Habit tracker - break the goal into habits and add them to the daily view where the user can log their progress
Progress dashboard - visual charts showing streaks and cumulative % of improvements along with future projections
Basic social sharing - create infographics to share with friends and on social media
Optional features (Cool stuff you could add later)
Future self visualizer - Auto-generated mockups (ex. “In 12 months you’ll be able to…”) with dynamic infographics
Gamification - badges and points for sustained streaks and positive actions
Stats for different categories (ex. body, health, business, etc.) - with automatic % points
👑 Local AI Decomposition system: Instead of using external APIs which are expensive both for you and for the user, consider using local solutions like Apple Intelligence which now enables apps to access the system locally.
How to make money 💸
Monetization and Pricing list
Freemium subscription: €8.99/month
One time purchase: €29 (without cloud based features)
Affiliate partnerships (courses, books, etc.)
How to hit 10k/month
[All calculations have been done supposing to have 10.000 free users]
Subscriptions: €9×500 = €4.500
One time purchases: €29×200 = €5.800
Affiliate partnerships: €20×5% = €1 × 400 = €400
Total: €4.500 + €5.800 + €400 = €10.700
How to get the idea known 📢
Content SEO - Publish case studies and long-form guides on productivity and similar niches to attract your ICP
Influencer collaborations - Find content creators in the business and self improvement niche and offer them a discount code to show your platform and earn a commision if they make a sale
👑 Social media content - You don’t have to create content of yourself, you could easily make some faceless social media accounts in the business and self improvement niche and still bring traffic to your app
Why this idea is cool (and why it’s not) 🧐
Cool aspects
The idea taps into an evergreen himan desire: be better, improve himself and have social accountability. By leveraging some psychology principles of getting better everyday by just 1% and with Ai for personalized guidance this idea fits perfectly in what self-improvement people often seek.
Meh aspects
You’d need to be good at differentiating from others because you wouldn’t be the first goal-tracking app and while this is definitely different from the rest, you’d still need to be good at making your unique selling point clear to understand to anybody. Also, the AI decomposition engine must be robust enough to habdle diverse goal types and it shouldn’t reccomend obious stuff which would make it pretty useless.
Discuss this idea with AI 🤖
I'm building a mobile app SaaS that focuses on helping users break down their tasks and reach their goals quickly and easily. This platform acts as a virtual life-coach and task manager in one. Users set ambitious long-term goals and the system automatically breaks them down into daily, bite-sized actions. By combining progress tracking, motivational insights and a vivid “future self” visualization it drives a 1% per day improvement habit. The MVP would have features such as goal decomposition engine, habit tracker, progress dashboard and basic social media sharing. As for monetization I will offer a freemium subscription and a one time purchase for non-Ai features.
